When and how should I tell the man of my dreams I was married four times before becoming a Christian?

Q: I am dating the man of my dreams. We went to the same church and met on the interenet. We got aquainted through email and phone, but have been hanging out for about the last week. I see this as potentially being a long term relationship leading to marriage. Before I received Christ as my Lord and Savior I was married four times. When would be the time to reveal this to him and what should I say?

A: T.W., Thanks for writing.  If you see potential in this relationship for anything beyond friendship, then I believe you should tell him about your previous marriages as soon as possible.  As to what you should say, I suggest you simply tell him you see potential in the relationship and you want him to know that you were married four times before you became a Christ follower.  Keep it simple, and then if he wants more information you can give him details.
